Supplies for Cotton Ball Stamped American Flag

  • White cardstock
  • Cotton balls
  • Paint
  • Clothespins

Directions

  1. First, add red, white and blue paint to a paper plate or paint palette.
  2. Next, have the kids pinch a cotton ball in a clothespin and dip it in the blue paint. Stamp the blue paint in the top left corner of the white cardstock. You are going to add enough paint to make a square. Remove the cotton ball once you are finished.
  3. Add another cotton ball to the clothespin then dip it in the red paint. Stamp the red paint at the top of the white cardstock next to the blue square. You are going to make the stripes for the American flag. Remove the cotton ball once you are finished.
  4. Finally, add another cotton ball to the clothespin then dip it in the white paint. Stamp the white paint in the blue square to represent the stars of the American flag.
