Supplies for Tissue Paper Juneteenth Flag

  • Juneteenth flag template
  • Recycled tissue paper (red, white & blue)
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • White cardstock

Directions

  1. First, download and print the Juneteenth flag template on white cardstock.
  2. Next, have your child use safety scissors to cut the blue, red and white tissue paper into small pieces. If they are not ready for scissors, let them tear pieces of tissue paper for this craft.
  3. Finally, crumple the tissue paper into small balls then glue onto the Juneteenth flag until it’s completely covered. Blue belongs at the top, red at the bottom and white for the star and burst.
